I updated the SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 firmware from 1.63 to 1.64, via the victron connect app.
After update, the app reads 0 current. However, the SmartSolar is moving power b/c battery voltage via victron smart shunt reflects charging.
The solar charger is charging, but app reads 0 - this symptom started after update. What can I do to restore full function?

Did you try to power cycle the MPPT?

The MPPT device has been power cycled. Power cycled by disconnecting +/-, on MPPT device for battery and solar sides. Did not fix.
Other troubleshooting steps taken: reset device to defaults. “forget” device in app, and re-add. turned off charging, turned charging back on.

Hi dslipp,
Can you connect to your MPPT and after that create a “service report”?
To create a service report you have to go to “Menu” → “Settings” → “CREATE SERVICE REPORT”.
Please, share that .log file and we will find out what’s happening.

Hello Mauricio,
The issue appears to be resolved. Chalk it up to user error or the device needed an over night reset.
Either way, if i could delete this post I would. I’ve had very good experience with victron software and devices. thank you so much!
Hi I have exactly the same problem with a new installation 100/50. I just tried power cycling it on and off, with no change.
