Victron MPPT 100 30 Problems after firmware update 1.74

Hello,

Im using this setup for tears without a issue, 2 solar panels in serial, and charging 2x 100 A AGM battery’s parralell.

But during my trip the mppt performed a update to the latest version 1.74, and since then im losing the Bluetooth connection to the app.

And also i have the idea that charging is nit working correctly.

I tried to download and downgrade according to several procedures to 1.64.

But no way this is workkbg from my samsung mobile and lenovo tablet.

I downloaden the 1.64**.duplo file, and open this using the smartsolar app.

But no way to get popup and questions about the selection etc.

If someone has suggestion please share.

VE Connect will download the needed firmware files. you should not need to download anything else.
Can you still connect to the MPPT via bluetooth with the VE Connect app?
If not, then you will need a VE-direct / USB cable to connect with.

Hello Mike,

Like i explained, im not able to connect with rhe app over Bluetooth.

This since the latest update.

When i disconnect the solarpanel and power, everything works again.

But after a while is disappears again, so no connection over Bluetooth.

All worked fine the last years, so i assume the firmware 1.74 is the cause off this unstable behavior.

Im stil able to monitor with the usb connected panel but i prefer a working Bluetooth.

As workarround im trying to downgrade to a earlier version like 1.64.

I dowloaded this with extensies. Dup and when opening the file i tell it to use the victron app , but i see nothing..so no questons or upload 1.64 into the app for manual downgrade.??

So i need help on how to force a downgrade.
