I have recently set up a second small power system in a shed, stand-alone with wireless internet access. I have a reused cerbo GX a 150/35 and a phoenix unit. All is working well. It has internet connectivity. It does not manage to report to VRM. I have looked at all the settings I can find to no avail.
I am assuming it is because it is a replaced device (which is still without fault at the point of moving it out of the main system).
How do I get it talking to VRM ?
Replaces as in rma replaced or replaced as in you swapped it on a particular installation instance in the vrm?
If it is online it will be reporting (the question will be to where) unless under the vrm portal menu it says it is not and shows errors there.
Thanks for your interest. Replaced as in removed from one of my installations to another. I am trying to get the reporting so that I can see it from my VRM login.
So just a physical movement? It will be registered to the previous installation name and logging there. If there is no new information and it is connected to a network with WiFi or ethernet, then you need to look in the VRM portal sub menu and see if there are errors there.
Thanks, I followed the advice on replacing a cerbo so I’m wondering if that might be the hurdle.
I have trawled through all the menus as far as I know. Couldn’t see anything amiss
Is the correct device showing on the device list on the vrm?
Hello in frustration I deleted and re added and it is all operational. Either I missed something first time around or something filed on the initial add.
Thank you for your time and thoughts.
Really appreciated.
