Remote VE.configure problem

Hi guys,

I finally finished my setup and i’m ready to start configuring everything. Offcourse one of the first steps is to get all firmware versions up to date. But with the Multiplus I run into some troubles.

I’ve 3 MP2 5000’s daisychained together and linked up to the cerbo.

When i start the firmware upgrade i eventually see the following message:
“Error Message: ‘Incompatible VE.Bus system configuration. Writing system configuration failed’ Error: mk2vsc-61”

Also in the right bottom corner there pops up a red box saying: “you don’t have sufficient rights (1512)”

I run into the same error when I try to download the VEconfigure file.

I don’t have the MK3-USB interface but I guess i’ll have to get me one.

Maybe you have some idea’s over here, the only thing i can find in the search is related to an old bug.

I’m acutually doubting if the daisychain connection is done ok. Because i only see one of the multipluses serialnumbers in the devicelist.

In the VRM portal setting on the cerbo - is it set to Full?

I am also having a Remote VEConfigure problem - I can’t seem to get ESS to enable on the multiplus.

This problem is solved.

Turns out you’ll to do the very first initial setup with use of the MK3-usb interface.
