I am using the victron 100/50 B/T. I cant get the bloody bluetooth light to come on or any set of 3 sets of panels showing it is probably my fault! I have simply put one of my eco worthy bi facials into conectors, with bare wire for the Victron PV slots red and black and then into an all powers by the yellow plug input…NOT A JOT. I have also tried the renogy 200w case, and a panana 4 panel huge 2.4m wide 220w folding case too and all nothing can sombody help, I have been using AI (GPT and GEMINI) and they are crazy wrong every 2 secondss with sorry heere and oops there, its not helped at all, i cant afford a guy to come out its mega bux, i just need to flick the correct switch or something, its really plug and play, can someone help please, im deparate, i just need the blue light to go on, i did this before a few years back and i’m not doing anything daft as far as i can see!!! The Blue light on the front is the bulk charge light, not the bluetooth light.
You need to connect the MPPT to the battery first, then the blue light should start to blink. If it does not, then there is a problem with the unit. Try connecting either with Victron connect & Bluetooth if it is a ‘smart’ MPPT, or with a VE direct cable if it is not.
If the blue light starts to blink, then try connecting the solar modules, making sure to observe the correct polarity. Use a multimeter to measure both the battery voltage and the PV voltage. Once the PV voltage is 5V more than the battery voltage, the blue bulk light should come on solid.
