I’ve downloaded the Victron Connect app but when I try to connect via Bluetooth I can’t find the controller. I’ve gone through the manual and googled it but still can’t connect. Any help would be appreciated
What phone are you using?
Are you sure that its a SmartSolar? BlueSolars look and work the same except they miss the bluetooth

Have you allowed the app access to bluetooth and local network in the settings on your phone? What status do the leds on the smartsolar indicate?
Bulk and also absorption, yes the app has promistion to access Bluetooth in phone settings
Do the leds alternate or flash in sync. In sync means there is an internal error.
Have you tried disconnecting the mppt for 5 minutes?

Please look at the manual in this link and check what the leds mean.
Bulk and absorption alternating blinking means manual equalisation.
Bulk and absorption blinking in sync means internal error.
They wan not blinking at any time. First bulk for some time then absorption from r some time then float as it should be just can’t detect unit in app with Bluetooth
Have you tried rebooting by disconnecting it? Have you tried a different phone?
Is the MPPT new? Has it worked before?
Id try an Android phone. If you have a VE.direct dongle, either usb or bluetooth, you could try that, to see if the internal bluetooth maybe is deactivated
Tryed a different phone. Powering down is my next point of call I plan on trying at the weekend
