I have Bluesolar 75/10 MPPT in my boat.
I have connected two Brightsolar 50W solar panels (paraller connection) and 65Ah Lifepo4 battery.
Bluesolar is not charging. What should I do? I have not even Bluetooth adapter to check settings.
Seller said that I dont need it because Bluesolar works automatic…
It is a 12/24V controller. It is automatic the first time you connect it to a battery, then after that, it’s locked to the voltage. If they used it on a 24V system, it would not automatically change back to 12V. You need to get the Bluetooth adaptor. You really should have one anyway for monitoring and adjusting the settings. I only by Blue solar and have one adaptor. I connect all mine to Venus OS, so dont need Bluetooth.
3.1. Automatic battery voltage detection
The solar charger automatically detects supported (e.g 12V, or 24V) system voltage (battery voltage) on first power up. If a
different system voltage is required at a later stage, or if the solar charger is connected to a 36V system, this can be manually
configured in the solar charger settings.

Reference of the battery?
Not charging? Do you see lights on the MPPT?
For MPPT use, it is better that open circuit voltage (Voc) of solar panels is equal or higher than 3 times the battery voltage. Is it your case? Serial connection of the two solar panels may be more suitable (if Voc is still bellow 75 V).
Blue Bulk-light is blinking every 3 seconds.
Following manual provided by Owen:
The bulk LED will blink briefly every 3 seconds when the system is powered but there is insufficient power to start charging.
- Are your panels well connected to the MPPT?
- No shadow on panel?
- What is the reference of panels? A link? A picture? What are Voc, Vmp, Imp, Isc… of a panel?
Max Power Pm(Wp) 50W
Max Working Voltage (Vmp) 20V
Max Operating Current(Ipm) 2.50A
Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 25V
Short Circuit Current (Isc) 2.66A
It’s not charging. You will only find out why with a Bluetooth connection.
So, you can connect them in series. It should be more efficient.
Can you check voltage at MPPT entrance while panels are exposed to the sun?
I made a re-wiring and connected them in series. Now its working. Thanks Eric!!
