OS v3.50~28: EM24 Ethernet disappeared

Hello,

after switching from my “old“ EM24 ETH to the VM-3P75CT a few months ago, I decided to reattach the EM24 to monitor AC loads from my EVCS.
First everything went fine, EM24 was working.
Because the old setup of the EM24 was still present in my Cerbo, i went to the settings to rename the device and change it from grid meter to AC meter.
During this reconfiguration the EM24 disappeared and never came back.

Tried the following: Power cycling the EM24, deleting the device from the modbus list, rebooting the Cerbo, updating to the latest beta, nothing. It still does not appear in the device list.
When i do a modbus scan, it is detected an entered to the static device list.
BTW: The EM24 is still accessible via Gavazzi UCS on my PC, so there is no general network issue.

Any idea how to fix this?

Hi @A.Siebenmorgen , is it ok if we login to check?

Feel free to check…

Hi Matthijs, did you had time to check my system?

Hi @A.Siebenmorgen , not yet, sorry. A colleague has to look into this; but he is out of office.

I expect more news next week.

If you need it to be solved sooner, then you can always do a full factory reset, but that does mean redoing various settings.

Hi @A.Siebenmorgen , we logged in and solved it for your system.

The underlying problem is that since recently the system allows setting the role of an energy meter to heatpump, but in gui-v2 those are not visible (yet).

We’ll fix that. Thanks for the report!

Thanks for fixing!

BTW: Is it possible, when EM24 is set as an EVCS, to replace energy metering of my Victron EVCS?
As of the fact that Victorn EVCS measuring is not very accurate, I would like to replace the integrated metering of my EVCS with my EM24.
