I would like to modify my current installation and I already have the MPTT controller.
Before buying the equipment, I’m trying to make a wiring diagram (all Victron) for a sailboat including :
2 LFP 12v 200Ah batteries in parallel (to be purchased),
1 BMS smart 200 (to be purchased),
1 DC DC Orion XS charger (to be purchased)
1 lead-acid engine battery with a basic 60A alternator
2 solar panels with Victron MPTT regulator.
The amateur-built boat is in Guatemala and I have the skills to carry out the work, but it’s difficult for me to design the new wiring diagram.
Can I get some help, as there is no expertise in Guatemala for this and i want to stay KISS !
Victron publishes a number of schematics for example systems, you can download these and use them as inspiration. Go to the link and select the product and it will.list schematics containing that product.
Secondly, download the equipment manuals, these have some examples wiring set ups.
Thirdly, download the Victron publications “Wiring Unlimited” and “Energy Unlimited” and read these. The forum does not tend to support broad design topics.
