My Orion-tr Smart dc-dc 24-12 charger has stopped working, when I disconnect the input (24v) and reconnect, it works for a few seconds then cuts out. When I log on with bluetooth (which only lasts a short time) it says
“Device off reason
Low voltage input”
the voltage tests at 25.8v , I have checked all connections , can’t see a problem.
Any suggestions appreciated.
But have you tested the input voltage at the terminal screws on the Orion you do not state what you tested. If you have only tested the voltage at the input battery you could have a loose connection or failing isolator or fuse on the supply cables. If you measured the voltage on the Orion terminal screws then this may be an internal fault.
