I have a 300 ahr victron lithium ng battery connected to a victron bus bms ng an a Orion dc to dc and a victron smart solar 30/100 mppt.
I used the dc to dc and the mppt to charge the last 5% of charge, the mppt went into absorption mode and went down to 0.00 amps but the dc to dc continued to charge and eventually after about 40 min the amps were jumping around 0.00 to 0.20.
The battery cells were 3.6 to 3.61 volts and still the mppt stayed in absorption and showed 0.00 amps.
Any idea why the dc to dc continued to show amps charging and the mppt showing 0.00 amps with the battery cells at 3.6 to 3.61
I plan on using the dc to dc while driving but still expect it to stop charging either by the. Bus bms ng or the Orion.
Could someone help explain why the victron bus bms ng is not stopping the Orion tr from charging
