Setting correct parameters to Battle Born batteries.
There seems to be no definitive setup of the multitudes of choices on 3 Separate pages within the Victron Setting page app and for charging correctly. I’ve been on Battle Born site to get a few of their available settings and other formed as well as Chat GPT for a few,. The Orion still has a few kinks that don’t let it function correctly.
Has anyone had this setup issue, and resolved it ?
So what are those exactly?
Which batteries are you trying to charge, which settings are you using and wheres the power for the Orion coming from?
With battery bank down to 70 % and starting driving, I would expect to see Bulk charging at 50a initially then switching to Absorption later on with steadily less amps going into batteries.
Of late, after making some changes to settings , such as choosing correct battery type for Battle Born, max charge voltage etc, the charger initially jumps right to Bulk for about 5 min’s then goes to Absorption at 15 to 20a input then to 0a .Yet, my battery bank on Victron controler says 72% SOC ??? It’s acting as if it thinks my battery bank is almost full.
