I have an OctoGX with 5 Solar controllers, 2 independent Multiplusses (one is connected through an MK3 over USB) and a victron tank level sensor. I have tried to Update from version 3.54 to several newer versions but the unit keeps rebooting in a loop.
What is the latest version of VenusOS that I can run on the OctoGX?

The Octo GX is newer than the Colour Control GX (CCGX) and the advice for the CCGX is to not go beyond 3.55 as firmware 3.60 and above caused problems. Details of the Octo GX are harder to come by, perhaps it was not widely adopted so I can not answer definitively. However, the info for the CCGX and your experience suggests 3.54 / 3.55 is the latest you can use.lat
Reboots are from overloaded cpu. Newer versions have more load, so older is better
The 3.55 cap is good advice especially since you have a few devices which inherently increases the resource requirements.
Thanks to all for the advice, I’ve updated to 3.55 to get the last small fix and everything is working fine, cpu load is fine when I ssh in to check.
Nothing in the new versions I really need, i just generally like to stay updated, but I’ll stop this one here.
