Odd L1 Numbers from parallel generators

I have 2 Champion generators connected in parallel with Champion’s Paralink adapter. My 50a RV power cable is plugged into the adapter. I am running 2 Multiplus-II 2x120 inverters in parallel at 12V. When running the system on the generators, my Cerbo GX will report that I am drawing from shore power, for example, 2600 watts, but it also shows that L1 is providing 118v and 42 amps, which would be a MUCH higher wattage than 2600. I’ve never before noticed these parameters to be out of sync like this and it is most perplexing. Can anyone explain what is happening here?

The question would rather be… what is actually correct in this case… the 2600W OR the 42A?
Is there perhaps a configuration error here?
Is the system configured correctly as a parallel system?
What type of generators are they? 230V or 120V?

The 2600W appears to be correct, since the watts used (AC, DC, battery charging) roughly total this.

The system is configured according to Victron’s specs for paralleling these units. The generators are 120V generators. The Champion Paralink adapter shares the output of the two generators positive, or “hot”, line across the L1 and L2 lines of the 50A outlet.

Do you have another load running at the same time?
Then you would have to consume an additional 2600W in the vehicle…
Do you have a picture of a remote display …

Steffen,
No, there is no other load. Even if there was I would expect the Vs, As and Ws on L1 to roughly agree.

See the attached screenshot of the VRM console.

It is possible that it is a “bug” in the Victron system related to the running of the two inverters in parallel. Using Victron Connect to get readings directly from the Multiplus shows the same numbers. The Cerbo GX device agrees. However, I also have a Southwire Surge Guard EMS in my setup and the display on that shows L1 input with only 24-25 amps.

I guess I will just trust the wattage readings and ignore the amps reported on the Cerbo and Multiplus.
