I keep getting notifications for topics I haven’t subscribed to and some of the notifications say “You will receive notifications because you created this topic.” even though I didn’t create the topic, someone else did eg. Any way to bypass What's New screen when viewing on a hdmi monitor (no touch input)?
This seems like some strange administrative bug? Can someone help please?

haha it’s not your fault. I keep getting automatically subscribed to random topics by the server for some reason.

One of the default settings sets a topic to tracked if you have it open for a set time, say 5 minutes. I open the topics of interest from the latest view in new tabs and work through them, which meant many were open for >5mins and got auto tracked. Changed the settings per nesswill’s post above.

Nope, nothing selected in tracking and I had that topic open time setting turned off too.
I think I know the reason…
@guystewart keeps splitting off topics from a topic I created (VenusOS v3.50 / GUI v2 issues/suggestions) and for some reason the system thinks I’ve created the topic that’s been split off because I was the original author of the original topic the reply was split from. Guy, is there any way to tune this so I’m not notified of split off topics?
Hmm, good investigating and sounds like a bug. I’ll see what I can do find out about stopping it.
