New Smart Solar 75/15 does not show up as Bluetooth device

Hi, I just changed my Smart Solar 75/15 to a new one, exactly the same type. Old MPPT have been deselected from Victron Connect app and from the tablet. The new one fires up and starts charging the battery, no problems there. But even though the Bluetooth LED is blinking the new MPPT does not show up on the phone or the app. I have gone through the Trouble shooting section #13 and everything is fine except it will not show up.

I have reinstalled the app, shut down the tablet, shut down the system completely and up again with no result. When I reconnect the old MPPT and the Smart Shunt they both show up immediately and will connect as soon as I put in there code, so they are working fine with the Bluetooth.

Does any of you have more than one (1) MPPT connected to your tablet/phone? I just wonder if that is the case, then surely I must have a faulty new MPPT.

Please confirm that you have a SmartSolar not a BlueSolar (maybe add a picture).

Do you have other devices that you see in VictronConnect?

@M_Lange - Yes, i confirm that it is SmartSolar.
Yes, my “old” MPPT (also a SmartSolar) and my SmartShunt do appear in both the app, the tablet and the phone.

I’ve found a recent bug in the VC app not opening the screen to input the pin code for the new mppt. To resolve this, go to the phone / Tablet bluetooth services page and see if you can find the MPPT there, and connect to it, inputting the pin. Then the device shows up and can be opened in the app.
Elsewise, try a VE direct cable to a laptop, or to the tablet. It may be possible that the blutooth is disabled in the MPPT, and needs to be turned back on.

@MikeD - the MPPT does not appear on the phone/tablet bluetooth service and I have no VE cable. Good idea otherwise.

@M_Lange & @MikeD - Issue solved!
After contacted the seller and I gave the serial number they said that this is an BlueSolar item according to the serial number… They can see that I have ordered a SmartSolar but somehow they managed to send me a BlueSolar. And me my fool never read the lable on the MPPT, I took for granted that it was correct. So case closed!
