Hi have a Solar Reg 100/50 and while i can see my Battery disconnect and my dcdc and my AC 30 charger in the app i cannot see the MPPT, has anyone else had this issue where the controller will not be found in the app while other Victron products will?
Are you sure it’s a ‘Smartsolar’ device and not a ‘Bluesolar’?
Confusingly, the ‘Bluesolar’ devices do not have Bluetooth.
it has bluetooth as it used to populate in my list until 2 weeks ago. but now it is not appearing in the list
That’s different then. At least you know it has Bluetooth and used to work.
Might need to unpair and start again?
Thanks yes have already attempted this >remove from phone bluetooth>disconnect PV and Batt>wait overnight>open VTapp>scan. still no product.
I do not have a VE.Direct to USB accessory do you think this could be a work around to check settings and perhaps firmware update or downgrade to attempt to bring back the bluetooth. or is there a “HARDER RESET to factory” that can be done on the device.
For a similar price, I think I would get a Bluetooth dongle
This would allow you to connect and check if the device internal Bluetooth has been inadvertently turned off, plus update/downgrade firmware as needed. It will also extend the Bluetooth range considerably if that’s useful.
In the remote chance you are resident in the Midlands area of the UK, I have a spare one you could borrow.
