My EV charger (Myenergy Zappi) is located on my parking, about 35 meters from my MultiPlus II. When I configure “Inverter/charger”, the MultiPlus starts to behave erratic: The load increase to 12kW, then falls to near zero and repeats that pattern. The CT sits on the output side of the ET112 meter. The strange behavior only occurs with the CT connected to the MultiPlus, not when it uses the internal measurement circuit. Software version MultiPlus is 558. Cerbo GX version is 3.72
Is this interference between the ET112 meter and the CT ?
Did you enable the external CT in the veconfigure settings?
CT should be placed on the grid connection (it is a grid meter effectively) so it can see the power being pulled from mains, not solely the EV load (it isn’t a load meter).
Diagram please as we can’t work out where the CT’s are in the install and where the EV charger has been wired into.
That’s a lot of power that is being drawn from the 8kVA which isn’t good as you must be overloading at 12kW. The charger should be before the Multiplus as your not going to cover house load and EV charging with the multiplus.
What are you looking to measure? If everything bar the charger is going through the multiplus I found the internal CT better with my AC solar setup less fluctuations and more responsive. Is the multiplus powering everything even the charger?
