Multiplus GX and multiple MPPTs: can I use VE.Smart and VE.Direct together?

Planned system:
1 Multiplus II 48/5000 GX
3 SmartSolar MPPT (100/20 and/or 150/35)
all connected to the one 48V battery

The 3 MPPTs can connect and synchronise charging using VE.Smart networking (Bluetooth)

The Multiplus GX has only one VE.Direct port.

I believe in VE.Smart one of the MPPTs is the master and the others are following as slaves.

If the master is connected to the inbuilt GX in the Multiplus via VE.Direct, can the GX then control the whole lot of MPPTs?

Or is the only way to achieve that by hard-wiring all the MPPTs (by either using a Cerbo GX, with multiple VE.Direct ports, or by using VE.Direct to USB adapters)?

Each MPPT needs to be connected to the GX device.
You need to use VE.direct to USB adapter and a USB-hub.

Exactly what matthias said, but use a good quality powered usb hub!
