MultiPlus? 48/20000/250-100 or MP2

MultiPlus, but what now? According to the wiring diagram, can AC Out 2 be switched as a relay via software? The datasheet contains the following statement:

Two AC outputs:

The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a mains failure or an interruption to shore power/generator power, the MultiPlus takes over the supply of the connected loads. Switching takes place so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured. The second output only supplies power when AC is available at the MultiPlus input. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.

and this is the wiring diagram:

vs MP2

which has a contactor installed on AC In 2 that disconnects all poles (or almost all poles)

For me, only one thing is clear: the MP2 15k complies with VDE-AR-N 4105 (as a stand-alone system, but not as an ESS because it is larger than 30 kVA); the MP 20k does not, if I have worked this out correctly. (Without external anti-islanding protection — which would again be mandatory for a 10–15k MP2.) Could someone shed some light on this? I’m confused, or stupid, or both.

I’m also a little confused by your text.
What exactly is your question/problem?

AC OUT 2, if present, is switched via a relay on all MultiPlus units.
As far as I know, the relay is single-pole.

The 20k only has a relay on AC IN, so it isn’t a MultiPlus-II either and therefore requires external anti-islanding protection.
The VDE-AR-N 4105 certificate is presumably already in progress.

The MultiPlus-II units have certified internal anti-islanding protection.
Depending on the system design, even a system with 3 × 15 kVA MultiPlus-II units does not require central anti-islanding protection.

That’s what I mean—so what’s the advantage then? According to my research, an NA protection device is also required externally for a 3x15kVA MP2 system, along with an earthing relay, etc.
