Hi, I’m setting up a new site with the MP-II 48/4500 inverter. However the MP only shows up in VRM als ‘VE.Bus’:
When looking for updates the portal says ‘product not found’ and on the Professional website there’s no firmware available for processor ID 2601.
Any thoughts?
That’s still a very new product, so I guess Venus OS/VRM needs an update to recognize it correctly.
The MP already has the newest FW installed.
Even with the latest VenusOS beta (v3.65~3) installed it’s not fully recognized. Now it shows as a MultiPlus-II 48/4000/45-32 instead of a 48/4500/55/32…
I’ve opened a support ticket with Victron, will see what that brings…
The wrong name shouldn’t cause any issues during the operation.
You still should get all informations and the system should work normally.
Victron is working on it.
