I have setup a new Multiplus II 48/5000 (veconfig).
In Remote Console the Mutliplus is not listed under devices.
Firmware is v3.64
In the past I remember a similair issue that I have solved by doing a VE.bus scan. But in the new console I cannot a find a menu point for it.
Ve bus re-detect is in devices/ multiplus/advanced.
More detail required of how system is connected / communicating / what’s in the system.
On new console, tap screen / settings / devices or tap inverter box / advanced / re-detect
Unfortunately the menu entries are not available.
In the new console I cannot see anything in devices.
I do have a brandnew Multiplus II GX out of the box, configured with MK3-USB interface for the basic settings.
As in the menus I do not see the Multiplus neither VeBus I have done a VeBus rescan in VenusOS:
dbus-send --system /VeBus com.victronenergy.BusItem.Rescan
Running dbus-spy I cannot see a service for the VeBus:
Carefully pop the cover and make sure the GX and the inverter are connected.
Something might be loose.
As these is a brandnew device I will wait for an answer of my reseller before opening the device, to not loose warranty.
I have now opened the case and checked the RJ45 cable connecting the GX board to the Multiplus.
The plug was not inserted correctly in the socket.
These solves my problem.
