Product not in library in VRM

In my; Installation, Device List, Firmware update, one of my components, the Multiplus II shows, “Product not in library”. I have been aware of this new development for approximately two months now.
Via email, I have contacted the selling dealer. They stated, “It is a catalog issue that some users have seen with recent Victron updates.”
I hope Victron is aware of this issue and I wonder when it will be resolved.
I wonder if others see this as well as myself. If so perhaps all is well and it’ll be resolved soon.

This is not a common issue. What multiplus is it? What are the first 4 digits of the serial number?
What gx do you have and what is the version it is running?

Could you please add some more information about that issue?
Maybe some screenshots.

My equipment:
Multiplus-II 48/5000/70-95 120V, v557, First four digit of serial number; HQ24 - firmware ID 2723

There is a 2723558.vfd in the firmware collection, but not 2723557.vfd - maybe the fact that the current firmware for the MultiPlus-II is not in the firmware collection is causing the problem?

Thanks for the report, I’ll pass it on to the VRM team and they can correct it.

In defence of your dealer, there is a lot they can do to help with Victron, but there are some edge issues (such as this one with VRM) where coming to this community is probably the best way to report it.

It appears that Victron themselves have taken an interest in my original post. Let’s see what happens.

It also that the serial number is unknown as shown in the screenshot. This may be of no concern, I’m sure the VRM team will catch it and address it if it’s of any concern.

Thank you all for the attention given to my concern.
Not having heard otherwise, I’m going to believe this is not a coincidence. Rather this is as a result of someone taking my concern seriously.
Thank you Victron, staff and volunteers.
This is why I’ve spent the big bucks rather than follow the recommendations of others and their installations, near my cabin’s location.
As you can see by the new screenshot it appears that my concerns with regard to “Product not in library” has been resolved.
My Anal Retentive, OCD, ADHD behind will sleep better now.

We’ve indeed added the firmware file to the right place, thanks for flagging!

With regards to the serial number; this is a limitation with the current system, it’s known and not easily fixable. Hopefully someday!
