Figured it out today. If the inverter is OFF, then you get that error. Turned on the inverter and finished the upgrade. Had a few other issues on the way but was able to get those resolved too. I have not seen that error listed as “check that the inverter is switched on” Maybe now, it will help someone else. Thanks for your help. This can be closed.
