Hello,
We installed a new 2 Tracker Multi RS in PV only mode.
Everything works as it should except that in the remote console the Solar trackers are both amalgamated into L2.
I am assuming that L1 and L2 refer to the tracker inputs.
It also does not produce the total production either.
In VRM dashboard I can see that the RS is working and injecting on phase 2 with the total of the two trackers.
In Victron connect dashboard I can see the two numbers for the production of each tracker and one showing the total.
Is there a setting I am missing in the Venus setup ?
This appears to be directly related to the 3 phases.
In the Victron connect I can move the solar value of the RS from L1 - L2 - L3 by selecting the phase in victron connect under ESS settings.
As this has a 3 phase grid meter for later installation of batteries and sum of all phases ESS. I am assuming that the solar production total can’t be accurate is expecting 2 more units in a 3 phase installation so throws an error?
Edit to add:
I am pretty sure that this is a meter error. I am using a ET340 on a three phase installation connected to the venus. However looking into it, the Multi RS needs a meter on VEcan so the VM-3P75CT.
I will update once I get to the customer to test it.
I have changed the meter to the VM-3P75CT.
This has no effect.
It looks like a bug in the software, where the Multi RS expects two other RS units on the other phases and then it can calculate the solar output.
The client only has one RS on one phase acting as a P.V inverter. The client also wants to see the details of the 3 phases provided by the meter, not an unreasonable request.
Anybody have a work aorund for this?
Many Thanks
Your RS is not connected to the GX. The GX only shows grid measurments because thats the only info it gets. All other tiles are in their “no device/no connection” state
No sadly not. Thanks for your response but the RS and the meter are viewable.in the GX device list and I can access the RS and meter via the Internet.
