3 phase Multi RS ESS not using energy meter sum

Hey!

I have a 3 phase Multi RS setup now with the Europe grid code (here in NL) together with the Victron energy meter and it is configured with vector metering. (counts the sum of all phase towards usage) But lately ESS is ignoring the sum and is balancing the individual phases instead.
So if one phase has a surplus and another a deficit it is balancing this through the DC bus. This is quite wasteful and unneeded here in NL.
I changed from 3x MP2 to the RS setup a couple of months ago. Is there a way to reconfigure this? I can’t find a setting for this. I clearly remember it used to work with ESS as expected and for a couple of weeks now I noticed it does not with my current setup. I don’t know if this is due to a software/firmware update. Maybe I am confusing it with my previous MultiPlus setup, which would work fine. Back then there was setting for this, but ESS settings have moved from the Cerbo to the devices.
I think I have seen it work with the RS setup too before, but now I’m unsure.

Cheers,

Joost

Maybe you are looking for multiphase regulation in remote console ess menu?

Hallo

Mischien toch wachten op een update.

@guich27 Thanks! That makes sense. I initially had only one RS on L3 on conjunction with the energy meter. I guess, that’s when I saw it working. So it is work in progress. I’ll have to wait a bit. Good to hear it is coming.
@DuivertNL That ESS menu is empty now when using the RS’s

Ah i see!

On short term, a Victron configuration will be purchased like:

3x Multi RS for 3 phase setup

1x Cerbo Gx

1x energy meter

I do not like the energy meter VM-3P75CT because you need to setup a UTP network and you need to maintain the network for many years.

Is working with a EM24 and a Usb2RS485 cable/adapter allowed to get this Multi RS in 3 phase working?

P.S. I have experienced with this configuration but with 3x Multiplus II 5000.

Use the VE Can connection for the VM 3p75ct, you already use it for the Multi RS 6000 communication.

As far as i know there is no support for other energy meters (yet) than the vm3p
