MPPT 75/15 does not appear in VictronConnect Device List despite multiple power cycles

I have a 3-month old MPPT 75/15 controller that recently has stopped appearing in the “Device List” in the VictronConnect app. The status lights appear to appropriately indicate charge activity, and I can confirm charging is taking place via an ammeter. Multiple power cycling from both the battery and PV panels don’t help. “Forgetting” the device in the Bluetooth settings on my iPhone 13 doesn’t help.

At the same time, I consistently receive a signal from a different MPPT 100/30 that is further away, both in the Device List and also when connecting to it to get to the screen displaying Status/History/Trends. All while the 75/15 is radio-silent. So my phone is working fine, Bluetooth is working fine, and the app is seemingly working fine.

What is going on and how can I fix it? I don’t see a way to reset the PIN with the PUK since it doesn’t even appear in the device list.

I’ve tried to upload a Service Report but the forum gives me this error:
“Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif, zip, mp4, mov, webm, m4v, 3gp, ogv, mpeg, vsc, rvsc, vms, rvms, txt, pdf, doc, docx, csv).”

Many thanks,
Dave

I use this controller on a portable battery setup, so after a few more power cycles, but no other changes, normal Bluetooth function has been restored. Clearly an intermittent problem, and I hope it doesn’t happen again.

As it is a portable setup, there might be a loose contact, or maybe humidity or dust that causes trouble? Maybe you could check the connection, especially the interface calbes…

Maybe, good thought. But there is power coming from the panel, and power going to the battery, both at appropriate voltages and currents, and the Bluetooth is wired separately from those, so I’m not sure how connectivity could be affected…
