I have a 150 | 70 mc4 ve.can controller installed. The solar panels are putting out 40v, the battery is connected and all i get is a slow flashing blue “bulk” light. The regulator isn’t putting out any charge. Through the victron app, i can see battery volts sitting at 25v, but PV is zero volts and zero amps. Ang tips/tricks to fault finding? I have completed a software update.
The Blue bulk.light means the unit is not charging. The issue is your solar panels are not connected or they ate connected but there is a very poor connection. When you measure the PV voltage there is no current draw my the multimeter so even.with a very high resistance poor joint you can still see full voltage. Voltage test really is a poor test and often gives false positive results to the unwary. Once you connect the panels to the mppt it pulls some current and the voltage collapses due to voltage drop over the high resistance. Che k all.your wiring and mc4 connectors. The other frequent problem we see is the panels connected backwards, so you measure 40V but the + and - are backwards.
