As part of finalising an autonomous vehicle project (Fire Engine + Roasting/Kitchen Trailer combination), I am looking for an integrator or developer specialising in the Victron ecosystem for a bespoke programming assignment.
1. Current installation (Already configured and validated):
MultiPlus-II / Cerbo GX (Venus OS Large) / Pylontech US5000 battery bank (CAN bus).
Backup generator with a manual transfer switch (ATS).
The hardware safety systems are in place (Generator Assistant and ESS configured in VEConfigure, Pylontech cut-off voltages calibrated). The hardware is perfectly stable.
2. Requirement (Software development assignment):
We would like to outsource the creation of an energy management system (EMS) via Node-RED to control the installation intelligently without interfering with the hardware safety systems.
Creation of a 3-profile state machine (Standard Grid with Peak Shaving / Storm Mode / Travel-Off-Grid Mode).
Control of the ESS setpoint and Generator Assistant via D-Bus services (without directly forcing the relays).
Integration of dynamic AC-In current limit control.
Development of the Dashboard UI (dark theme) for the onboard tablet.
A complete specification document (architecture, switching logic and UI specifications) has already been written and is ready to be sent.
3. Terms:
This is a paid assignment (a professional invoice is expected).
Development and acceptance testing can be carried out remotely via the VRM Portal.
If you are in the South/PACA region (Marseille/La Ciotat), an on-site visit could be arranged.
