I have an 18V battery pack that I want to charge using the 75/15 Smart Solar Charger. I’ve heard that the charger allows you to adjust the charging voltage. Could someone clarify by how much the voltage can be adjusted?
Additionally, if I configure the charger to charge a 24V battery, my actual 18V pack will be close to or below the typical minimum operating voltage for a LiFePO4 battery. Will the charger continue charging the battery once this minimum threshold is reached, or will it stop?
On the VictronConnect phone app you can download demo settings pages for various components, try this and see what it allows for the input ranges.
It does appear to allow adjustment right down to 18v on the 24v setting. But the documentation also states it has a 22.2v LVD, unless this does not function in a user defined configuration?
I downloaded the app and tried the demo mode with the charger that I want. The minimum voltage I was able to set was 18V. There was no setting for a low voltage threshold. So I’m going to get one and try it out on a mostly flat battery.
