Minimum value for "max charge current" setting?

I would like to put together a solution for charging 12v batteries that range from 10Ah to 50Ah. I would like something that can safely charge the 10Ah batteries at 0.5C (or so) while still being able to utilize higher current for larger batteries.

I see that the Victron charge controllers (I’m looking at the SmartSolar 100/30) have a “maximum charge current” setting, but there’s no information on whether there are any limits to how small this value can be.

Can I set the maximum charge current as low as 5A?

Thanks!

Typically the lowest current setting is about 1A. Depends a bit on the product.

Load the VictronConnect app to your phone, there is a demo product option where you can load the product and see what the settings options are by trying it out.
