Hi
I have working Fuel an Water gauges and senders from mcs. These are voltage based .
I have just invested in a Cerbo GX .
Has anybody done this before or can somebody point me in the right direction how to get it working.
I have these on my boat, fuel, black water and fresh water and the system works well.
However, you need the GX Tank 140 as this takes in voltage based senders, the Cerbo is resistive. I sill have the MCS LCD displays as well as Cerbo.
The wiring diagram is attached, I connected an extra signal wire from each gauge to the GX Tank 140 along with a negative wire back to the negative bus bar, the GX Tank 140 has a common negative so you only need the one.
I found that the fuel sender was calibrated 0-10V and the water gauges 4.5-7.5V, these need setting in the Cerbo.
Thanks for making the diagram its really helped me.
I have spoken to MCS if your sensor was made after 2023 both diesel and water voltages are 0 for empty 10 for full.
My boat was built in 2021 so the old ranges, it means the water tanks are not quite a precise. Good info if anyone else comes across this topic.
