Line 2 no longer displaying activity on Cerbo GX Touch Display after attempted update to firmware (2.73 to 2.85) of Cerbo GX and then restore of old firmware (back to 2.73). But wondering if I updated firmware of MP2. It has been a while and just don’t remember. I think I told myself don’t do that because I could get myself in a pickle. But since I lost Line 2 visibility, I’m wondering if that happened and basically lost configs.
Fifth Wheel purchased used with Victron/Battle Born battery setup installed. I’m a noob to this setup though been using it for some time. Not knowing what I was doing was attempting to get propane tank Bluetooth device integrated. Thought maybe just needed to update firmware on Cerbo GX. This was some time back so little foggy but also remember seeing could upgrade other devices MP2 but feel like I did not update. Now sometime later noticed things like my bedroom AC are not registering activity. Looked in settings and says Line 2 unavailable. Operation all seems to be working fine, just not seeing Line 2 data on Cerbo GX display and VRM portal..
Hoping something simple. I have attached my config I pulled down from VRM portal.

Thanks for the response. So I think the event logs may not show me because when I had updated the firmware I also believe I lost my internet connection. I don’t see any event logs that match up to the timing of when I was messing with the firmware, at least when I look in the VRM logs. Not sure if there are logs still kept on the devices that maybe I could get to. Sorry but just call me stupid I shouldn’t left things alone. I do have contact that I can reach out to for service but was just wanting to see if anyone had any quick fixes before I paid someone.
Ok maybe I just don’t understand what is going on. So does MPII actually support monitoring line 1 and 2 from the pedestal. Maybe I have only ever had line 1 activity. That seems odd though. What it means is my fridge and my bedroom AC don’t show up on my Cerbo GX touch display. Meaning I would have to have an energy meter to see line 1/2? Sigh.
I’m learning as I go. So I understand MP2 supports 50 amp line 1 line 2 the question is what is needed to be able to see the actual wattage coming in on line 1 and ine2. I see you display lines L1 and L2 but do you have any special setup for that, meaning an ESS? Again I understand I could be completely wrong.
Nothing special, a 24V Multiplus-II 2x120 and Cerbo on the AC side. No ESS, it’s in my coach. The MP 2x120 has 50A pass-thought and inverts on both L1 & L2 but only at 120V, no split phase 240V.
I don’t have any experience with the external energy meters. Not sure if you’d need a 3 phase meter to get split phase power, or just add a single to help your Multiplus watch the other side.
I’m a bit jealous of the amount of room you have to install your gear. Our little pusher doesn’t have a ton of empty space, we tucked the inverter & solar up between the frame rails.
Update: Talked to Dragonfly/Battle Born. The asked me to update Cerbo to latest version to activate remote access. Well when I updated the Cerbo it started working (See L1 and L2 again). Now before when updated the Cerbo my wifi connection stopped working and VRM portal didn’t get updates. Now that all seems fine. So not sure what was going on. My guess is I might have update MP2 firmware and then downgraded the Cerbo back to saved backup which got them out of sync. Just a guess.
