Is it acceptable to put a 200amp fuse on each positive cable of Lynx distributor

Hi
I am using the lynx distributor to a 12/3000 multiplus
I am using 2 x 50mm sq cables positive and negative
Is it acceptable to put a 200amp fuse on each positive cable as apposed to try and double up the cables in the distributor and fit 1 x 400 amp fuse?

Yes, but make sure your cables are equal length and everything is tight so they have the best chance of being equal current. On my Lynx Distributor to Multiplus 12/3000 i used a single 400A fuse, then a short length of 95mm2 to an isolator and 2 x 50mm2 from the isolator to Multiplus.
