Smart solar 100/20 stay on float, have disconnected and reconnected goes through process and stays on float , battery’s 12.65v
Give more informations. Which solar panel(s)? Which battery? What does tell the MPPT with BT/VictronConnect?
Grab screenshots on VictronConnect of your battery settings and the status screen.
The usual cause for staying in float is too high voltage drop.or poor connection between the MPPT and the battery.
Thank you so much, disconnected every connection and found loose connection on the battery, this being the only item not checked, working fine now phew, it’s so nice having back up from experts and once again thank you.

Fixed, thanks for expert advice, advice spot on with loose connection.

Unfortunately back to square one, reset just goes round and back to Float , so I will renew wiring from controller to batteries with extension cable with fuse from Amazon, fingers crossed,
Sorted, as you said wires from controller to batteries was the problem, renewed wires and it’s working fine now, when I removed the old wires found fuse hot to touch, definitely a fault at the fuse will take apart and find out the cause.
