Smart Solar Charge Controller Mppt 100/20 not going out of float when batteries are low

Hello,

For the last 5 days the Max wattage has been 5w. When it is normally in the 500s. It is staying in float when the batteries are low (10-20%) and they dont seem to be charging as fast as they usually do. It’s been slightly overcast, but not so bad that it wouldn’t normally charge.

My batteries are 2x 110Ah 24V batteries.
I’ve attached pictures of my app to show you. On the history you can see what a normal day would look like on the very right. I also wanted to say that the voltage of the batteries on the smart solar does not match the actual voltage of the batteries. And the voltage never dropped down to 0.01 nor up to 28 on the days where it said it did.

Help would be much appreciated!

Check the connection to the batteries. Most likely a fuse blew, or some other issue that leads to the battery output dropping to zero

We checked everything and all connections seemed to be working

Check again.

Esp the fuse in the bottom of the mppt.

How? With digital meter and the solar switched off? Or just visial checks?

The battery min voltage shows 0v. That means there is no connection to the battery or th4 battery is switched off. A fuse most likely blew. If you are using thermal resettable ones they it has stopped functioning correctly?

Confirm you are not trying to charge through the battery protect?

Thanks guys, had an electrician look at it and he said all flowing ok. However the unit decided to die last night, so will get them to look again and contact supplier! Thanks for your help, will keep you updated!

Yup found a blown fuse! Thanks guys you have been amazing.
