Globallink 520 reboots

Hey,

I have random reboots of my Globallink 520. It I difficult to use the relais if it always change the status for the reboot.

I do not see a clear reason for reboot. Sometime every 30 min, sometimes different. Is it maybe because of short signal drops? I have an external antenna and most of the time perfect signal. Sometimes single drops of signal quality. Is it then a reboot for a new sim card login and hope for better signal? I would like to deactivate such a setting. Better longer bad/no signal as a reboot with change of my relais status.

Thanks a lot,

Peter

No one with the same problem? Would like to have a setting to stop rebooting because of signal drops…

@admins : how could I get in contact with developers?

Yes, I have exactly the same issue. While the connection always say it was „excellent“ the device ist still rebooting after latest 1 1/2 hours.

I had connected a RUTX50 (in a camper bus) to the relay via the NO contact which made the router more or less unusable, as it rebooted every some random minutes and opened the the closed relay. Because of the reboots I changed it to the NC contact, which is not the best compromise because it doesn‘t allow me to permanently disable the rooter for a reliable longer time.

I‘d prefer to understand the unwanted reboots of the Victron device and whether or how they could be avoided or deactivated. I also have an external antenna, which interestingly enough has a worse connection quality.

Cheers, Thomas

As a follow-up for the developers/product owners:

In another thread I read that the Cerbo has an option to disable the automatic reboot. It would be nice to have this implemented in the GlobalLink as well. So far I haven’t seen/found it within the latest stable or beta firmware version of the GlobalLink.
