Getting Access to the Mopeka Temperature Data on the Cerbo GX Screen and Historical Data

I have Mopeka sensors connected to my gray and freshwater tanks reporting to the Cerbo GX. There are values (i.e. Temperature and measured Tank Height) that the Cerbo will display on various screens but do not show up in the log data nor make it to the Cerbo graphics. Have I missed something in a configuration that makes that possible?

I would like the tank temperatures on the Environment screen and ideally the tank height (sensor value) on the Tanks screen. It makes no sense to me as to why sensor value is not written to the logs in addition to the Tank level % and Tank remaining fluid which are calculated based on user parameters (i.e. sensor value when empty/full and tank capacity).

The other item that I do not see is the ability to deal with a non-linear tank fill using something other than an analog (resistive) sensor. Have I missed a configuration that replicates the analog sensor value corresponding to a % full on the Bluetooth side of things? Thanks

If this is important to you then there is a work around using Node-RED in the Large Venus OS version.

A custom Input Node can pick up the Mopeka temperature. You then create a Virtual temperature sensor and copy the temperature from the Custom Input Node noted above to a Custom Output Node addressing the Virtual Temperature that you have created. The Virtual Temperature Sensor then appears as any other temperature sensor and can be used in your display and for relay controls etc. This option is only available in the current beta release V3.60 where it is under test.

Thanks for the temperature answer. I am about to head out on a trip and I should probably wait to load the beta. After that I will give it a go. Tank temps is more of a fall/winter problem so I have some time to work through it. I could see it being useful to determine when/if to turn on the line/tank heaters. The enclosed undercarriage does get some forced air when the heater is on.
