Full access to VRM

Hello

This is my first post on here so please be gentle.

I have a Multiplus -II 48/70 50 with a Cerbo GX. I am the only user.

On the Cerbo GX display, Settings > Remote Console, it says Remote Console on VRM portal is turned off, since “VRM Portal” is not set to “Full”

However when I go the the VRM Portal, and go to Settings > VRM Portal, it says Read only. When I click on Read only, I get the options “Off”, “Read only” and “Full”, but when I click on “Full” , it immediately return to the previous page with “Read only”

Any advice will be very welcome,

Thank you

David

Hi David,

…edit of the post:

the levels were only introduced in a late firmware (3.50) , so your firmware is recent. Could it have to do with a password not beeing set?

What is your access level (under settings-general-access level)?

J.

Hello Johannes

Thanks for your prompt reply and advice. It wasn’t the password.

After trying just about everything, I found that although I couldn’t switch to “Full access” using the VRM Portal, I could using the Cerbo GX.

Now that I have Full access, maybe I can use that to stop the Multiplus giving a “Low Battery” alarm when my battery is fully charged?!

Have a good day

David

Hi David,

welcome. Anyway: I doubt that this will be the solution to what you describe. To change the way the Multiplus interprets Voltage/BatterySOC you will need to change settings on the Multiplus. You can do this through VRM by “Remote configure” (Devices - VEConfigure), but that’s another rabbit hole if you have never done it. Download the VeConfig software before.

Send me another message if you fail, I could do this from here if you grant me access.

J.
