Hi all,
Hope someone can help me share some light on my issue.
My setup:
3x MP2 running Single Phase
2x MPPTs (85 & 100A)
Lynx Shunt
Cerbo GX
EEL Battery 314Ah with JK BMS V15 (FW 15.41) COMS via RS485 to GX
Settings:
Most is taken from Andy at Off Grid Garage.
Absorption: 55.2V
Float: 53.6V
But my problem is that it never reaches the 55.2V as it hits Float Mode at 54V. On the Battery display I never see the SoC go higher than 91%.
I am pretty confident the BMS is where the setting need to be found, but just cant see the problem, so do I need to look somewhere else?
The battery bms is requesting 54v.
The system wont charge higher.
Something either jn the driver you have poaded or the bms settings needs to be reviewed
Cannot see it on the pictures shared, but do you have DVCC enabled? I guess so.
WHat are the parameters the BMS are communicating to your Gerbo? Mine are:
Hi René,
My settings are these. Have tried Limit Voltage to 55.2, but didn’t seem like it did any chance.
If you configure the Victron VRM to use DVCC, then the JK BMS will tell your Victron system what the charge voltage has to be. If you configure it correctly, you will get the same parameters as in my screenshot. In your Victron MP you need to configure “external control” in the battery charge config.
