Firmware update (with VictronConnect and MK3-USB from Win) failed on MP2

Update: Working again, but still would like clarification:

Attempted to give an MP2 48-3000 a firmware upgrade.

Used VictronConnect with Windows and MK3-USB. Firmware failed with:
Failed. Get error: Update failed! Result:29 - Unknown Error occurred.

Did try a second time, same error.

Multiplus not working anymore (but can be reached with MK3-USB), also with VEConfig.
LEDS Bulk, Absorption and Float are flashing continuously, can’t find documentation for all flashing.

So digging a bit deeper it seems Victron has all kinds of different model families.

Even though the firmware upgrade failed,
VictronConnect shows the new firmware: v558, and
VEConfig shows the model family, too 2629558.

But since the firmware failed: How can I know for sure that VictronConnect did flash for the correct model family?
How can I find out what model family my unit is? The SN/PN sticker does not provide such information (as far as I can tell).

I did flash 2629560.vff with VEFlash, that did work, and the unit is working again.

Still: Why such weird error from Victron Connect, why the flashing LEDS in a way where I can not find documentation about, and how can I check my Product family with certainty?

Hallo Badti,
das hatten wir erst vor Kurzem hier.

Yes, this was the issue.
