I’ve had no problem using my Victron EVCS until today, when it doesn’t show up on the app. I can see that it’s one of the Bluetooth paired devices. There are no updates listed for Victron Connect. Please help.
I’m trying to go back to the original set up via wifi, to see if somehow Bluetooth has turned itself off, but can’t get 192.168.1.1 to load in browser (Chrome). I don’t know if I need to have the wifi app on my phone on or off. Neither option works. This was an issue when I first got the EVCS. I don’t have any other internet connection at home except my phone. Help with this issue also much appreciated.
After much searching I find the https://192.168.1.1 I was told to use for the web interface is wrong! http://192.168.0.1 works, and on the laptop rather than the phone. I found that Bluetooth was disabled (!! How, and why?!), so have enabled it, and the EVCS appeared on Victron Connect, but unfortunately I unpaired it earlier to see if that would help, and now none of the pairing codes I’m trying work. It also sometimes disappears from the list of devices, then reappears if I re-enable it via the web interface. Is the correct pairing code hidden somewhere inside the housing?
