EVCS fail firmware update

I just received my new EVCS charging station and the app tells me to make and mandatory update from 1.24 to 2.0 and I press “update”. The update always fails at 4% with “Network error 4”. I’ve tried to disable/enable Bluetooth, restarted the iPhone, unpluged/pluged in the charger but nothing helps

Please give me some more input to update the EVCS

Updating via VictronConnect is a new feature maybe it has problems updating from a very old FW.
Try to do the update via the web interface or VRM portal.

Take a look at the manual:
https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/EV_Charging_Station_NS/en/setup,-configuration---operation.html#UUID-8894ba93-60e5-4aa5-8725-3581fd51eefc

I can’t do any WiFi settings since the app goes to a mandatory update. Sometimes the app skips this and I see a normal view, going to Network settings and set wifi to Local, and then scan - my networks pops up but I can’t do any WiFi settings, through scan or manaly, nothing is saved or connected. So trying with VRM will not help since I can’t get passed Bluetooth connections.

Do the setup with the access point of the EVCS.
Take a look at the manual:

my bad, sorry. Did press the DEF button for 15 sec, then connected to the AP, uploaded 2.0 and everything is working. Thanks for your help (I should read the manual better, I’ll in the future )

By the way, do you know where I can read more about using 2 relays, getting 1P3P connections? There are some hints in the MODBUS spec, but I would prefer a little bit more flesh on the bone.
