EVCS NS no connection to GX

Q&A and troubleshooting EVCS

Current installation:

  • GX with firmware V3.66

  • EVCS NS with firmware V2.04

The GX is connected via Ethernet to the router,
the NS is connected via WiFi to the router.

In the VRM environment I can see the charger and also control it.
However, the NS keeps showing an error (W-104): no communication with GX.

Could the cause be the fact that I connected the NS via WiFi and the GX via Ethernet?

Have you you turned on Modbus in the VRM settings and let the Cerbo discover the charger?

Hello Jim,

No, it did not, and here is my answer!
I went to: Settings > Integrations > Modbus TCP Server and set it to Enabled.
Now it all works. Thanks for your help! :+1:
