Evcs not working after update

Hello, perhaps someone can help.
Evcs after update to 2.02 did show a changing screen between loading… and normal dashboard. I tried several times to update, no change. Also the update to V 1.3 as recommended did not leed to a normal display of the screen. The unit was always accessible through web Id and Victron connect. Updates were done by vrm and through Web ID. Finally I pushed the def button inside, resulting in rebooting but soon showing system data ERROR! now the unit is no more accessible. Any idea how to proceed?

Hello, @rainhu. Let me assist you. First, we need to restore access to the unit. After you press the ‘deff’ button, EVCS activates Access point mode for Wi-Fi. Please perform these steps:

  1. Connect from your PC or smartphone to the Wi-Fi network with SSID like ‘EVCS-SERIAL-NUMBER’(keep a short distance to the EVCS to be able to find that network.)
  2. The Wi-Fi password can be found on the sticker(inside the EVCS or the box).
  3. After connecting, type in your browser http://192.168.0.1. You should be able to see the web interface.
  4. Log in like ‘admin’, password the same as in p2.
  5. You should be able to see ‘the First-setup’ wizard, where you can connect EVCS to your home network and set passwords, charging current, etc.

Hi Niclas, thanks for your help.
While I opened the EVCS I noticed that the separate screen driver which should plug in the socket is missing on this EVCS. My other two EVCS have this additional device.
Unfortunately I do not know through which dealer I bought the EVCS. Do you mind sending me the SPR00103 to my German address? happy to pay if necessary.
The number is EVCS-HQ2301D7NGN

Fortunately I found out the dealer where I bought the Evcs. It was the SET Stange Energietechnik GmbH
Lise-Meitner-Straße 13A
40764 Langenfeld.
how shall I proceed?
For me the easiest would be to get this small part sent to, so that I can stick it in.
Apart from that your procedure worked, I can access the Wallbox through AP and was able to connect to the Cerbo Gx, but the display remains black and still shows the system data error.

Hello @rainhu. You can ask about that spare part at your distributor. They should send it to you by request. Can you please ask them? Once you connect the spare part, perform the FW update procedure one more time. Or ping me here - I will do that.
