EVCS is not working after update 2.02

Hallo

EVCS-HQ225064

i made update from 2.0 to 2.02.
After Update the cable needed a calibration but the button was gray.
So i made restart nothing changed.
I tried with reset.
After reset the EVCS shows error w-101 N-301 N-303
Bluetooth isnt working
Wifi is possible to connect but no access to page 192.168.0.1

Who can tell me how to fix this error

Since 2.02 the CP is calibrated automatically.

Try to reset again by pressing the DEF button for 15 seconds.

i did the 5 sec and 15 sec DEF but there is no change the EVCS restarts and i can connect by wifi but not open the webfrontend

Do you use a smartphone/tablet or a laptop?

A while ago I had trouble to do the setup with my phone so I switched to the laptop and it worked perfectly.

Also try to disconnect the EVCS from the power supply for a few minutes.

Hello @tbader
Check if you are using HTTP instead of HTTPS. The correct address to open the EVCS web interface should be http://192.168.0.1
Some browsers may add https automatically.

  1. i switched off the WB for one night after i could connect
  2. with Android i was not able to connect but with Windows 11 it worked
  3. for now is stay in the same status like before factory reset
  4. the EVCS will not start charging when i press start i have error N-303 when i will switch mod i have error N-301
  5. the car is waiting for charging start → car and cable worked before update

N-303 - Appears when the ‘Start’ button is pressed but the car is not connected to EVCS.
Are you sure the cable is well connected to EVCS and EV?
Which EV status did you see in the VRM, web interface, or VC(Disconnected, Connected, waiting for start, etc…)

N-301 - Appears when attempting to set Auto mode but GX communication is disabled.

the car is plugged but in EVCS is no reaction
i had may try first WB and than car or first car connected and after WB nothing works

Check inside if all wires are connected and all plugs are on the PCB.

Last week I had a CS with a loose CP wire.

My car is also not detected (N-303) on both units, yes I have two EVCS, both with screen.
I had to calibrate CP line manually in the past for each Tesla. Can I revert the firmware?

Yes, you can safely revert to FW v2.01(by loading files from the https://professional.victronenergy.com).
Is it possible to check your EVCS? I will write a PM.

i got this Problem fixed from Victron Service Thanks to @Nicolas he gave me again access to calibrate

I got the major problem the display of my EVCS is staying in “Loading..”. Version 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 have the same issue. I’ve up/downgraded between them, did multiple installs.. only way to control my EVCS is via webinterface.. not compatible with my wife tho :frowning:

Resolved by Nicolas. Display backlight had to be set to 100%
