Hi all, i hope someone can help me out. I did the firmware 2.0 update on my evcs and something went wrong and i cannot acces my evcs anymore.
What happend is as follows:
I downloaded the 025 file from the site
I went to the vrm and to devices to acces the evcs control panel.
I uploaded the file and pressed update.
After some time i got the message error loading file.
Afthe this i went to my evcs witch is located in the garage to see “loading” in the screen as if it is rebooting. I tried accesing the charger via device panel as well as webinterface but got this message:
It can’t be the same error, the proxy error is possible just when accessing it through VRM.
The “loading” message on the screen is because the screen board didn’t receive the firmware. Was the Bluetooth enabled before updating the unit? if yes, you should be able to access it over Bluetooth. If not, you there is a default (“def”) button inside the unit. If pressed for longer than 15 seconds, it will restore the unit to factory defaults. But once you can access the unit again, you still need to send the firmware again so the screen gets updated.
So far so good. Bij resetting the device i was able to log in locally again. And now i also have the new interface in the evcs browser view as via the vrm. Only thing is display is not functioning yet. Still in loading.
I read in another thread that i should just redo the firmware updste and again via web interface and not via vrm.
After at least 15 tries still no correctly working display.
Are you waiting after sending the update? The update is performed in steps, first the main board, then the screen. So when you see the web interface updated, the screen update is probably in progress. There should be a progress bar on the screen while doing so.
But, anyway, I will write you a private message for the portal ID so I can have a look.
