On the next weekend my electrician and me we will install a 3-Phase ESS with Victron Multiplus II, Cerbo GX and Pytes batteries. I am still running two PV installations. One with a Solaredge (SE10k) inverter and one with a Fronius Primo 4.6 inverter.
My Question is, is there a way to run both inverters behind AC out (AC Coupled)?
I know the documentation from Victron for both vendors. And I recognized the different frequency settings.
Has anyone experience with such a mixed setup and some hints or maybe a solution for me?
Do remember that the 1:1 rule applies.
You should be able to program the P(f) curve of both inverters so that proper limiting applies when the mains is disconnected.
Sounds tricky but you can set same frequency derating on both inverter. On the Fronius just to into expert menu, touching the third button 5 times and introduce code 77634. There you will find the option to modify the frequency and derating factor, just set the same as the solaregde, that should work
Thanks for your hints @MikeD and @Solarmaxcanarias.
I will try to set change the frequencies to the same value.
I know the 1:1 rule and comply with it.
Commissioning was planned today, but the electrician did not have time at short notice. So I have to wait to try out your hints.
I will let you know if it works in the next weeks.
@Solarmaxcanarias I tried to find the correct settings in the expert menu. But there are quiet a lot of settings and I am not able to compare the Solaredge settings to the Fronius settings.
The Hz values are also different to the Vicrton manual ac_coupling_fronius
Can you tell me the right point in the expert menu for Start, Minimum and Disconnect freq?
Thanks so far
Sebastian
