When VRM indicates that the battery needs charging, it doesn’t charge and stays in float mode all day.
This started after an update to the latest software on the MultiPlus.
Increasing the minimum charge level doesn’t make it charge either.
The only way to get it to charge is to set the charge limit to 100%.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?

A bit more detail required here, detail your system and settings, add screenshots for context.

I think it’s a setting in the Ve configuration of the multi; I had to set it again after the update.

Is this DESS? Did you properly reprogram the inverter after the update? Easy to miss something.

Yeah, DESS
I had to redo all the settings. I think there’s a mistake in there too. I’ve looked at it so many times myself, but I can’t spot the mistake, hence the photo of my settings.
Remove the last page setting under advanced that is for solar wind priority and is not used with ESS systems.
Is your bms connected to the gx? Then the charge settings in veconfigure only act as fall back when bms communication is down and wont be the primary reason to block.
Check dvcc, maybe maybe youve set a too low charge current limit there.
Is your solar dc or ac ?

I don’t have BMS communication, only via a SmartShunt.
My solar panels are AC (Enphase).
The charge current is set to 105 amps, so that’s not the issue.
It does charge when I set it to charge to 100% (I’ve also tried changing the charge current then, and that works fine).

LX, thanks so much for the helpful tip. It’s working as it should again
