Hello - my van builder put a victron system in - and he gave me no education - I am not an electrican. Is there a “class” for real beginners to learn since my builder is not being helpful. Thank you
Go to Victron Professional and set up an account there are lots of training videos.
What a numpty.
It is alot of information to learn at once if you have never used the equipment.
There is a victron you tube channel for how and understanding the equipment. That is easier to digest.
You don’t need to be an electrician at this stage. And once you are familiar and have started to dig into the manuals you will see it is oretty much all laid out for you.
What you can ‘demand’ is at least. Single line diagram from the installer for his install.
My boat builder gave me an hour or so handover. Reading through all the manuals helped a lot. Go to the manuals download page and get them all or scan QR codes on equipment.

Thanks! I will look at the youtube. my installer has turned into a handsoff guy - his usual repsonses are “I dont know” or “that has never happened” or the best one “maybe a wire got jarred loose while you were driving”
